Aims & Scope
The Kennesaw Journal of Undergraduate Research accepts scholarly or creative work conducted by an undergraduate student or a team of undergraduate students at Kennesaw State University. The work must have at least one faculty mentor as a collaborator/sponsor. Furthermore, KJUR subscribes to the definition of undergraduate research as "a mentored investigation or creative inquiry conducted by undergraduates that seeks to make a scholarly or artistic contribution to knowledge." (Council on Undergraduate Research).
Guided by this inclusive definition, KJUR welcomes submissions of diverse work across disciplines. Here is a partial list of the works that the journal will accept:

Additionally, the aims of this journal are:
- to publish scholarly and creative research by undergraduates at Kennesaw State University
- to provide undergraduate students an opportunity to learn about and participate in the publication process
- to showcase quality undergraduate scholarship conducted at Kennesaw State University
