Department of Educational Leadership

The Bagwell College of Education’s Department of Educational Leadership is designed to provide educators with the foundation, advanced knowledge and relevant skills to make a difference in schools and communities today and for the future. Our goal is to provide authentic, relevant instruction to students and to assist educators in meeting their career goals and objectives.

Kennesaw State University’s programs in Educational Leadership, Teacher Leadership and Higher Education Administration provides opportunities for students to synthesize and apply the knowledge and practice and develop the skills identified in core knowledge standards through substantial, sustained, standards-based work in real settings. The curriculum is planned and guided cooperatively by the institution and school district personnel and with state assessment standards.

Bagwell’s Department of Educational Leadership is committed to providing support to educational leaders in completing certification and degree status of our performance-based programs. It is our goal to make the difference in a student’s educational experience.
