Description

Eight years ago, the open technical communication textbook, Open Technical Communication, was created from an Affordable Learning Georgia grant. Since its creation, Open Technical Communication has been revised several times and transferred to an entirely different platform. Throughout its lifespan, it won an international award and has been adopted throughout the world. The textbook is in use in 30 states, and it been adopted 65 times in the United States and six additional countries. The textbook has been shown to lead to successful student learning outcomes. After eight years and all of these positive results, it’s time for an update. After sharing some of their research findings, Tiffani and Tamara will discuss their plan for the second edition and another exciting upcoming project.
