Description

The project Navigating Open Pedagogy: A Library Guide to Accessible and Collaborative Teaching provides students with a detailed framework for incorporating open pedagogy into their research. Open pedagogy fosters inclusive, collaborative, and student-centered learning through the use of open educational resources (OER), transparent teaching practices, and community-driven knowledge creation. The guide is specifically designed for the master’s course on qualitative research and design, helping students explore the pivotal role libraries can play in supporting open pedagogy. It highlights how libraries provide access to OER, promote digital literacy, and encourage collaboration between students and faculty. The guide emphasizes the importance of creating open, flexible, and accessible learning environments that engage a diverse range of learners. By equipping students with the tools to embrace open approaches, this resource aims to contribute to a more accessible, sustainable, and participatory educational landscape.
