Abstract
Because of the lack of conversation surrounding the effects of divorce on young adults, it is important to discuss how divorce heavily impacts their stage of emerging adulthood. Divorce places a burden on young adults navigating communicative decisions, relationships, and mental health issues. This research will benefit young adults struggling with or familiar with the effects of divorce by consulting gathered research and licensed experts. It will also increase everyone’s awareness on a needed conversation in today’s society.
