The Scholarly Publishing and Research team assists with all stages of the scholarly publishing and research cycles. We provide guidance and education on:

  • the open movements (including open access, open education, and open data)
  • copyright and fair use
  • research data management
  • affordable course material creation and adoption

This collection includes workshops, trainings, and guest webinars. Learn more about our research support services on the library website, and reach out with any questions!

    During the summer of 2024, SPR disseminated a survey on scholarly communication and data services to their fellow KSU librarians. The collected responses were used to develop a foundational series of train-the-trainer sessions. This session introduces: the scholarly publishing and research team, scholarly communications, open educational resources and affordable educational resources, data services, and the institutional repository.
