Volume 41, Number 2 (2025)

Editor's Note

This journal has undergone many changes over the years, including a transition to online publication, and it continues to evolve. Reevaluation, so necessary for scholarly and creative endeavors, will undoubtedly bring reshaping. There is no better time, I think, than to reflect on how the profession has shaped itself in the past, and how particular individuals have always been the starting point for making change. Our featured article looks at one such archivist from a previous generation, examining how she refocused archival education to take advantage of experiential learning and encourage new archivists to prioritize user access. A note for posterity: As with issue 1, this issue is backdated; its actual publication date is January 22, 2026.
