Volume 1, Issue 1 (2012)
The Oglethorpe Journal of Undergraduate Research is pleased to present the first edition of its journal. The essays in this issue illustrate the scholarship, love for learning, and quest for knowledge relevant to students at Oglethorpe University. Each paper in this edition is written by a freshman from an honors seminar. Honors students have the opportunity to write a thesis during their four years at Oglethorpe. The freshmen who are published in this issue show a promising future as scholars who will produce a final thesis at the end of their four years.
