Kennesaw State University’s Bailey School of Music, a unit of the College of the Arts, will present the Americana Festival from Nov. 7-11. Four diverse concerts will focus on American composers and patriotic songs to celebrate Veterans Day.

North Georgia Honor Orchestra
Nathaniel F. Parker
Concert performance by the North Georgia Honor Orchestra and KSU Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Nathaniel F. Parker, Director of Orchestral Studies in the Bailey School of Music. The North Georgia Honor Orchestra is a unique event designed to bring together the most talented pre-college string instrumentalists in and around North Georgia to focus on developing advanced technical and musical skills under the guidance of the exceptional KSU Bailey School of Music faculty. The orchestras will perform separately and then combine for a grand finale. This performance is free to the public, no ticket required.

ArtsKSU Presents: Xavier Foley
Bassist Xavier Foley is a winner of the Sphinx Competition, the Young Concert Artists Auditions, and the Astral Artists National Auditions. He has appeared as a soloist with the Philadelphia Orchestra, and the Sphinx, Nashville, and Atlanta symphony orchestras. Join us for this exciting performance featuring Charae Krueger, cello, Helen Kim, violin, and Eric Jenkins, piano.
