Abstract
Told from a first-person point of view, the story begins within the ruins of post-war 22nd-century London, England. The novel centres around two main characters: Aviah Knight and Terian Tesla. Aviah Knight has been genetically designed by her scientist parents to be a super soldier, and now she has become a monster who needs to kill to survive by consuming the blood of others. In a desperate attempt to undo what has been done to her, she returns to where it all began: her parents’ laboratory. Unfortunately, she discovers that there is no loophole, no way out of the existence she is condemned to live. She, however, isn’t the only one seeking answers. At the laboratory, she runs into a Terian Tesla, a scientist, who makes her doubt everything she thought she knew and challenges her view of herself.
