This toolkit was presented as part of "Rebuilding the Nest: An Inside Look at the KSU Libraries’ Reorganization" at 2024 Georgia Libraries Conference (GLC) and Society of Georgia Archivists Annual Meeting.

In the past year, the administration and employees of the KSU Libraries have worked together to reorganize their units and more than 80 positions. With a new Associate Vice Provost at the helm, faculty and staff went through a series of individual and group meetings, brainstorming sessions, and job description reviews to reorganize the KSU Libraries in less than 10 months. The reorganization also brought the KSU Libraries together with Museums, Archives, and Rare Books, which are now back under the same administrative umbrella. The panelists detailed the process of the reorganization, including what went well and what did not go well, and shared their perspectives on the overall reorganization during a moderated Q&A session. The panelists provided a digital toolkit to so others can reflect on their own organizations and consider potential ways to approach a major reorganization.
