Abstract
I'm Dr. Elisabeth Shields, the librarian assigned to your program, and it's my job to help you discover, understand, and navigate these resources. Usually professors ask the library to arrange presentations, but you should call or email me for individual assistance when you feel you can use it. In addition to helping you understand how to find sources for your research, I can help you choose software that will help you organize your research and keep it under control. My hours are flexible and I'll work with you to be available when you are, given some notice. You can also of course work with any other librarian when I am not available.
