Heather Leila H. Jordan is from Tallahassee, FL. She has a Bachelor's in Spanish Literature from the University of Florida and a Master's in International Health and Development from Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. She served in the Peace Corps in Mozambique and later lived and worked in Angola. She is a public health professional and a published author of fiction. She currently works at the Vanderbilt Institute for Global Health.
