This website provides a resource for administrators at nonprofit organizations, detailing the importance and best practices of using social media: it is a virtual how-to in creating and controlling a nonprofit’s social media presence as well as a concise explanation for why nonprofit administrators should invest time into enhancing the organization’s social media presence. As well as exploring the benefits of social media, it also demonstrates how to use social media, how to set up accounts, and how to reach specific audiences through social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Through different pages, the website seeks to assist nonprofit administrators learn how to choose the best social media platform for their organizations, how to make social media benefit their organizations, and how to begin raising the social media presence of their organizations.
Comments
The final project should be 5,000-7,500 words and include at least 6 original, self-produced, non-alphabetic media elements (e.g., videos, audio recordings, animation, digital games, GIFs, etc.). The media you choose to use should be purposeful and appropriate to your particular treatment of the collection’s theme, with at least three different kinds of interactive media being intentionally and purposefully integrated into your project.
