Wendy Doucette is an associate professor and the Graduate Research and Instruction Librarian at East Tennessee State University. She is the Editor-in-Chief and co-founder of the Journal of Graduate Librarianship. Since 2018, she has been the organizer and program chair for the TLGS (Transforming Libraries for Graduate Students) international conference. Among varied research interests, she has written about practitioner engagement, professional development, personal storytelling in academic libraries, burnout, civility, motivation, and empathy. She holds an MS in Library and Information Science from Florida State University and a PhD from Stanford University.
