Abstract
The author reflects on the celebration of the 2009 Library Day held at the state Capitol of Georgia. The author expresses that she felt an obligation to make a strong participation in the event. The author talks about the purpose of the special event. The author encourages the leadership of the Georgia Library Association to reconsider the reason for celebrating the Library Day.
