Abstract

The article reports on the ground-breaking on a new library facility of Augusta Public Library in Georgia on September 22, 2008. The library facility is three times the size of the existing library. The facility will function as the headquarters for the Augusta-Richmond County Public Library and the East Central Georgia Regional Library, which serves Columbia, Lincoln, Richmond, Burke and Warren counties.
