Abstract
The article discusses the highlights of the Georgia Council of Media Organizations (COMO) 2008 annual conference of the Georgia Library Association held in Athens in October 2008. The even was led by the GLA President Jim Cooper. Several appointments of GLA officers and award recipients are also announced, including Jeff Heck, Ray Calvert, Robert E. Fox Jr., and Lori Lester.
