Abstract
The article announces that the Academic Library Division of the Georgia Library Association and the Georgia Chapter of Association of College & Research Libraries (ACRL) are inviting academic librarians to submit papers for presentation at the 2007 Beaches, Blogs and Books conference of the Georgia Council of Media Organizations. The conference will be held on October 17-19, 2007 at Jekyll Island, Georgia. Papers that will be judged best will be receiving cash awards funded by Blackwell's Book Services and by EBSCO. Papers to be submitted for presentation may include research or reflections on developments in academic libraries that could present opportunities for libraries and librarianship in Georgia and throughout the U.S.
