Abstract

The article reports on a dedication ceremony for a library meeting room at the Smyrna Public Library in Georgia named after former director Doris Patterson Morris. Her family, friends, library patrons and local political leaders attended the ceremony. During her tenure as director of the library, Morris developed a classic antique book collection and supervised a feasibility study that resulted in a new library on the Village Green.
