Description
This poster shows how we used a traveling display to connect with various academic departments, scholars and lifelong learners, university students, and the general community. We will explore how the display evolved from an impressive exhibit into numerous presentations and community events. These events brought hundreds of people into the library who normally may not have visited. We will discuss the process of acquiring the display, the types of artifacts and documents that we had to choose from, how we collaborated within the University, advertising and promotion efforts, and the various presentations that resulted from this project.
