Abstract
Academic consulting teams provide faculty with outstanding developmental opportunities, This article discusses the benefits of faculty consulting teams, as well as the challenges of managing the three primary stakeholders in the academic consulting process -- the client, university, and academic consulting team. A case example is used to illustrate stakeholder issues and to provide guidelines for the management of academic consulting teams.
