Abstract
The article presents a simulation approach for enhancing cross-functional decision making in education specifically in Master of Business Administration programs. This article describes how cross-functional decision making is facilitated, experienced and demonstrated in a core operations management course. An interactive simulation game provided by the Goldratt Institute of New Haven, Connecticut was used to demonstrate that the process goes through distinct, temporal stages. The game enhances students' cross-functional decision making.
