Abstract
Review of Dr. Todd Goodman's Trombone Concerto, winner of the British Trombone Society's 2011-2012 Concerto Composition Competition. This review is of the published piano reduction with Wrong Note Media, edited by Kevin McManus and Tom Glovier. Goodman’s first trombone concerto serves as a fine contribution to advanced contemporary solo trombone repertoire.
