Listening Responsively
Abstract
The article discusses the significance of listening carefully in learning mathematics. It mentions that teacher educators faces several challenges while fostering mathematical discourse among prospective elementary school teachers. It also mentions listening can improve students' understanding of mathematics, and obtain a means of formative assessment. It also helps to increase their own mathematical knowledge, and support their own engagement in generative learning.
