Abstract

This essay analyzes the works of Angela Krauß and Antje Rávic Strubel with travel and dislocation as theme. It states that the authors shifted to the theme of movement and dislocation which results to acceptance of homelessness that defines the past and future of Germany and rejects their identity as East Germans. It adds that the texts in the post-Wende texts assert on travel which leads to the story of Germany and its people.
