Abstract
This essay presents the Portuguese Literature. The author outlines the critical judgments on the Portuguese modernisms as well as the notions of deconstructions. The author also reviews the criticism on the works of the Portuguese poets including Vasco Graca Moura, Herberto Helder and António Ramos Rosa.
