Description of Work
t is my favorite day of the week, Wednesday. I woke up to the sound of nature, birds chirping, and the swinging movement of trees, also known as the setting, I chose for my alarm clock. I do my usual upstairs routine which consists of making my bed, brushing my teeth, and cleaning my bathroom. My downstairs routine consists of making myself two sunny side eggs with my special blueberry yogurt parfait; the thought of the sweet honey combined with the saltiness from the yolk was stuck in my head. When I finish, I then take my dogs, Leo and Benji for their morning walk.

Description of Assignment
“A Day in the Life of your home”: A narrative Using the skills practiced in class, students were asked to write a narrative telling the story of a specific day in their life and what it is like to live in a specific geographic region. Focusing on an average day, they were asked to describe to the reader how they spent their time in a specific geographic region. Who did they see? What did they do? What were their everyday struggles? A narrative is a story, which meant they needed to have characters, a setting, and conflict.
