Description of Work
Natural gas leaks have long been a leading cause for fires in homes and commercial buildings. However, these issues still continue to happen at a rate that gas companies should not be proud of. Officials continue to focus on implementing long-term solutions but fail to create shorter-term ways for preventing gas fires from happening in a way that has not already been in practice. This paper brainstorms new ways that governments and civilians can implement into daily practice to prevent fires and even explosions from continuing to happen. Examples of gas leaks leading to tragedy will be analyzed and research will be done to conclude a solution that could be implemented to prevent each unique situation. These new solutions will hopefully be able to significantly decrease the amount of tragedies caused by fires each year.
