Abstract
Miss Hartwright's Most Terrifying Tale tells the story of a young woman in 19th century London who sets out to write a novel scarier than Frankenstein. But a series of comedic mishaps leads to her story starting to come true. This capstone is the beginning of a YA Historical Fiction novel written with the intent of researching the Regency period and writing a book inspired by the creation of Frankenstein.
