Pandialectal learning: Teaching global englishes in a 10th-grade english class

Abstract

In March 2020, Georgia schools suddenly transitioned to online learning due to the COVID-19 pandemic—a week before the authors were to begin a Global Englishes curriculum in a 10th-grade classroom. This abrupt shift introduced many unknowns, including how the material would transition to a teleschool format and how well the students would handle the content and activities during such a tumultuous time.
