Endlessly Revised Textbooks: Just Say No
The article discusses the textbook publishing industry, and argues that frequent revisions to textbooks are a cynical strategy to force students to buy new editions of textbooks rather than used copies. The author's determination not to require his students to buy new textbooks for his courses is also commented on.
