The Research Lead Teacher Model: Helping General Education Teachers Deal with Classroom Behavior Problems
The purpose of the RLT Model was to bring research-based strategies in instruction and behavior management from special education into the classrooms of general education teachers. This article describes the model and the RLT's role in helping general educators learn and apply behavior-management strategies with an emphasis on functional analysis and providing positive behavior support.
