Description

There are now competing mechanisms for encrypting DNS. I plan to explore two of the most common, DNS-over-HTTPS (DoH) and DNS-over-TLS (DoT). In particular, I plan to examine the performance of each method and compare/contrast them. However, performance alone can’t be the ultimate identifier when comparing encryption methods. Therefore, I will also do a review of each method with the goal of determining how they function and where their strengths and weaknesses lie.
