Abstract
Many suburban shopping malls are struggling today due to online shopping, questions of access, and monolithic experience among other things. This project explores the nexus between Savannah’s landscape and the abandoned mall. Therefore, envisioning a future where malls evolve from heat island hardscapes into environments that create a nexus between nature and community.
