Abstract

Access. Conservation. Records management. Limited resources. It is not surprising to find that archivists at the University of Oxford are confronted by many of the same issues as their counterparts in the States. In some cases, the issues are intensified in a way not known in America. With records dating into the twelfth century housed often in equally ancient buildings, the management of archives at Oxford proves formidable.
