Abstract
This two-part project is a combination of research and creative writing. The first part is a guide to characters, words, and phrases in the author’s fictional world. The second part consists of a prologue and two chapters from the novel. The chapters were written using the guide for inspiration. Both the guide and the novel are works-in-progress; the author hopes to eventually publish the finished novel.
