Abstract

Live Oak Public Libraries opened Chatham County’s first LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified building on Nov. 18. Numerous state and local elected officials, civic leaders and neighborhood groups attended the ceremony for the Southwest Chatham Branch in Savannah. The facility cost $15 million and has numerous features for library patrons.
