Abstract
Carolina Biological Supply Co offers a kit (Paternity Test BioKit) that uses blood group analysis (blood typing) to illustrate the immunoagglutination process. To simulate a DNA profiling paternity identification, Edvotek offers a kit (DNA Paternity Testing Simulation) that uses a plasmid DNA cut with a restriction enzyme. Rascati has developed an exercise that is based on concepts and materials in the kits from both Carolina Biological Supply Co and Edvotek.
