Abstract

The article presents a study which examines the development of an evaluation plan for tobacco counter-marketing campaigns in Maine. The state's tobacco control coalition has conducted key informant interviews and then met with stakeholders to address the management and evaluation of the state's tobacco counter-marketing campaigns. Findings of the study may be helpful to other state programs planning to evaluate their health communication programs.
