KSU's Year of the Portuguese Speaking World

Every year KSU's Institute for Global Initiatives organizes a program to examine a specific country or region. The Portuguese speaking world has been chosen for the 2015-2016 academic year. Comprised of nine countries on four continents - Angola, Brazil, Cape Verde, East Timor, Equatorial Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique, Portugal, and São Tomé and Príncipe - the Portuguese Speaking World is a diverse region, with each country possessing a unique history, economy, political structure, and culture.
